Nolan worked with the script for a period about nine to ten years. When he started thinking about making the film for the first time, he was influenced by the films of that period such as ''The Matrix'' and ''Dark City''.

When Nolan has decided to write ''Inception'', he has spent six months completing the script. For the director, the key of completing the script was wondering what will happen if a lot of people share the same dream.

He said: '' by removing privacy, you will be creating an endless number of alternative universes in which people can interact purposefully, with serious consequences''.

The budget of the film was about $ 160 million and it lasted for about 148 minutes.

The production of the film has started in Tokyo on 19 June, 2009 including other countries like: Los Angeles, London, Paris and Tangier.

The film won 159 awards and 220 nominations.

The director Christopher Nolan said about the film:

'' I have to say one idea, you can really steal something from someone's mind no matter how impossible this mission is; so, for me; this was as a wonderful mistreatment or misuse to this kind of technology.

The core of the film and the reason of its success and continuation go back to the exciting expressions about Nolan's main interests, according to him, the only way of existence is giving up time and truth, and this is exactly what we do when we go to the cinema.
